07/14/11 - After a long, hard fought battle I have finally lost my struggle to not post videos to YouTube. My initial dislike for the site was that it did not allow you to control the quality of the video you post there. Youtube re-compresses all the videos uploaded to it. Their system of compression left videos looking like something produced from an 8-bit Nintendo and they did not offer HD.

Since Vimeo entered the scene, Youtube have upped their game and their encoding is no longer an issue. This has changed. They have changed. I have changed. Now, as an older, wiser and more humble man I can offer you the link to Bentley McBentleson YouTube Page. I will be posting new videos to this channel as well as to this website.

10/01/09 - HIGHBEAMS has been selected to show in Manchester, Connecticut's Silk City Film Fest. On Friday October 9th, HIGHBEAMS will be shown as part of a short film collection from 3:00pm until 4:pm. Admission is $5. Myself and several others who worked on the film will be in attendance.

08/28/09 - HIGHBEAMS has been selected to be in the GIAA Film Festival in Manhattan on Saturday October 3th at Maya Deren Theater at Anthology Film Archives (32 Second Ave). It will be part of a short film block running from 7pm until 10pm.
